Unframed Mirror Products: Security Mirror Industries Limited guarantees the workmanship of glass mirror in unframed products for ten years from date of manufacture against silver spoilage only. This does not apply to stainless steel, acrylic/ plexiglass, laminated, tempered or a silvered / resilvered (by Security Mirror) mirror. This guarantee is in accordance with glazing or fabricating procedures being met, which represent industry standards.

Any nonstandard application will void the warranty, unless previously approved by Security Mirror Industries Limited. Some of these include but are not limited to, the use of ammonia cleaners, exposure to chemicals, mirror adhesives and areas of high humidity.

Cleaning: Cleaning of glass / mirror products should involve mild vinegar / water solution and a soft cloth only. In some circumstances, pumice may be used to remove watermarks, or other harder to clean substances.

While there is currently no guarantee on stainless steel and acrylic / plexiglass mirrored material, the following cleaning / care instructions will help to prolong the life of the product. Cleaning of stainless steel mirror should be performed with a high quality stainless steel cleaner, and a soft cloth only. Cleaning of acrylic / plexiglass mirror products should be performed with Pledge Brand furniture polish, and a soft cloth.

Laminated Products: We guarantee all laminated products for five years against delaminating or edge separation, and one year against silver spoilage. (Please refer to our Laminated Mirror Disclaimer).

Tempered Products: Due to the process of tempering glass, small scratches are unavoidable. Bow, warp, and / or process roll distortion may be evident and should be expected. The silvering process only serves to enhance the visibility of these inherent flaws. As such Security Mirror Industries Limited will guarantee against silver spoilage for one year. (Please refer to our Tempered Mirror Disclaimer).

Framed Mirror Products: We guarantee framed mirror products for five years on framing / components from the date of manufacture, respectively. For the warranty and cleaning regarding the glass / mirror component, please refer to those underlined under each specified material.

Wardrobe Enclosures: We guarantee closet door rollers for a period of one year. The warranty and cleaning of the mirror component follow those outlined under the specific material.

Adjustable Tilt Hardware: Security Mirror Industries Limited warranties the workmanship of our adjustable tilt hardware for a period of 90 days on parts and labour, and 1 year on parts only. This warranty is in accordance with fabricating procedures being met, which represents industry standards. Any nonstandard application will void the warranty, unless previously approved by Security Mirror Industries Limited. Some of these include but are not limited to, the use of ammonia cleaners, exposure to chemicals and areas of high humidity.
