Unframed Mirror Products
Security Mirror Industries Limited guarantees the workmanship of glass mirror in unframed products for ten years from date of manufacture against silver spoilage only. This does not apply to stainless steel, acrylic/plexiglass, laminated, tempered or a silvered/resilvered (by Security Mirror) mirror. This guarantee is in accordance with glazing or fabricating procedures being met, which represent industry standards.
Any nonstandard application will void the warranty, unless previously approved by Security Mirror Industries Limited. Some of these include but are not limited to, the use of ammonia cleaners, exposure to chemicals, mirror adhesives and areas of high humidity.
Framed Mirror Products
We guarantee framed mirror products for five years on framing/components from the date of manufacture, respectively.
Laminated Products
We guarantee all laminated products for five years against delaminating or edge separation, and one year against silver spoilage.
Tempered Products
Due to the process of tempering glass, small scratches are unavoidable. Bow, warp, and / or process roll distortion may be evident and should be expected. The silvering process only serves to enhance the visibility of these inherent flaws. As such Security Mirror Industries Limited will guarantee against silver spoilage for one year.
