When Do I Need a Commercial Mirror?
If you are installing mirrors in a high-volume commercial setting, it’s important that they provide additional safety and durability. Security Mirror manufactures commercial mirrors that meet these requirements while offering stunning finishes that don’t compromise the aesthetics you’d expect from a residential mirror.
Difference #1:
Backing
The backing of our commercial mirrors is comprised of two layers:
- Primary back — 3/16" (4.76mm) material that will not absorb or retain moisture and cushions the mirror by absorbing shocks.
- Secondary back — 0.37" (0.94mm) satin coat steel
Difference #2:
Mounting
Our commercial mirrors feature concealed tamper- and vandal-resistant fixings:
- Three-way keyhole slots allow for either vertical or horizontal mounting.
- Theft-resistant clips ensure a secure wall installation.
- Wall screws are completely concealed and once inserted into fixings, mirror cannot be forced from the wall.
