How to clean, protect, and maintain your mirrors for years of reliable use

Stainless Steel Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Clean with a mild soap and water solution or a high quality stainless steel cleaner using a soft cloth.
  • Always wipe in the direction of the stainless steel grain.
  • Rinse off all soap or cleaner with a damp cloth, then wipe dry using a clean cloth.
  • Never use cleaning products or polishes containing bleach, hydrochloric acid, chlorides, or silicone.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • To remove dust, use a soft cloth or feather duster.

Mirror Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Clean using a damp, soft cloth with a mild soap and water solution.
  • Avoid products containing ammonia, vinegar, acids, or alkalis, as these can damage the mirror and its backing.
  • Apply water or cleaning solution to your cloth, not directly to the mirror. Wring out the cloth to avoid excess moisture.
  • Rinse off all soap or cleaning solution with a clean, damp cloth.
  • After cleaning, dry immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth, ensuring all joints and edges are completely dry.
  • Never use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can compromise the mirror’s backing and edges.
  • For stubborn watermarks or deposits, consult a professional rather than using abrasive methods.
